The South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) Public Relations and Publicity team works with the media to promote South Australia as a tourism destination.
The team are the first point of contact for media enquiries. They regularly issue media releases announcing tourism developments and news, and also publish two regular e-newsletters: SA Stories and Tourism News, which are both available online.
The SATC also run a program of media familiarisations for both Australian and international media. Known as famils, they provide opportunities for supported travel in return for publicity promoting South Australia. Members of the media who would like to register their interest for this program are encouraged to contact the relevant Public Relations contact.
