The Return of SA's Favourite Holiday Guide

The 2010 edition of the State’s most popular holiday guide, South Australian Shorts, is now available, offering South Australians a host of new experiences to enjoy combined with plenty of holiday favourites.

Tourism Minister Jane Lomax-Smith says the new 2010 edition, available at the AFTA Sunday Mail Holiday Expo from 5-7 February, contains hundreds of holiday packages from around the State, offering something for all types of travellers.

"The new Shorts book includes more than 400 great holiday deals, special rates, fabulous family holiday packages and extra inclusions, providing something to suit every interest," Dr Lomax-Smith says.

"South Australia has plenty to offer, and this new edition features many extra packages, providing locals with extra inspiration to get out and explore the best of our State.

"With a comprehensive selection of accommodation, houseboats, tours, cruises and hire vehicle options, it’s South Australia’s favourite guide to booking and making the most of a South Australian holiday.

"A list of ‘must-see and do’ attractions in each of the tourism regions, along with detailed maps, where to dine information and an event calendar will help travellers get the most out of their holiday.

"A number of new tours are featured in the 2010 edition and include Art Scout Boutique Art Tours, Penfolds Make Your Own Blend, Hit The Heysen Trail and Swim With Sea Lions & Tuna.

"New accommodation to keep an eye out for includes Barossa Pavilions, Blue Grape Vineyard Accommodation, Linfield Cottage and the Murray Dream Moored Houseboat Accommodation."
