Fleurieu Peninsula
Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism (FPT) undertakes marketing activities that position the Fleurieu Peninsula as a first choice tourism destination to its key markets in Australia and overseas. In promoting a quality experience for visitors, FPT aims to achieve economic and social benefits for suppliers, business and the community.
The vision for tourism on the Fleurieu Peninsula is:
“The Fleurieu Peninsula will be the first choice Australian destination for great food, wine, art, coastal and water based experiences. “
Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism is funded by the South Australian Tourism Commission, industry and the four Fleurieu Peninsula councils - City of Victor Harbor, City of Onkaparinga, District Council of Yankalilla and Alexandrina Council. In addition, the SATC employs two full-time staff members who run Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism and fund a Product and Experiences Coordinator position, with additional support received from local government and FPT. All staff are based at Mt Compass in the Fleurieu Peninsula.
