Kangaroo Island

Tourism Kangaroo Island (TKI) is a non-profit incorporated body with a membership of in excess of 200 tourism operators.

TKI works in partnership with the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC), Tourism Australia and other Kangaroo Island agencies in developing and promoting Kangaroo Island as a leading Australian tourism destination. The core promise to our visitors is to provide;

‘A wild and welcoming natural destination that will surprise and amaze you, relax your mind, refresh your spirit and make you feel totally alive’.

Tourism Kangaroo Island is funded by the SATC, the Kangaroo Island Council and our Members and employs a full time Regional Tourism Manager and Regional Tourism Coordinator to help achieve the Island’s tourism objectives. As an additional service to the industry, TKI also run the Gateway Visitor Information Centre in Penneshaw.
